The beaches of the Crozon peninsula

Discover, Discover, Non classifié(e)

The Thalassa Hotel & Spa is an ideal base for exploring the many beaches of the Crozon peninsula. Between coves only accessible by boat, large beaches of more than 3 kilometers or those surrounded by bars and shops you have a multitude of possibilities for your moment of relaxation.

Here is our selection:

Plage du Correjou : Located 50 meters from the hotel Thalassa & Spa, this family beach is the closest to the shops and the center of Camaret / Mer, offering you a view on the Spanish point and the Vauban Tower.

Plage du Veryac’h : At the foot of the Pen Hir point, 3 km from the hotel, this fine sandy beach is very popular with families thanks to the absence of currents during the summer and a breathtaking panorama of the Douarnenez bay. You will appreciate of course the creperie / bar ideally located to enjoy a small thirst-quenching drink or small local beer.

Morgat beach : The beach of Morgat located in the city center near the shops, restaurants and bars, about 1.5 km long, is suitable for water sports activities such as stand up paddle, sailing, kayaking, longe côte and catamaran.

The unavoidable creek of the Virgin Island: Accessible from the parking lot of the House of Minerals towards the Cape of the Goat or from Morgat by the GR34, the access is quite steep on the last portion, it is perhaps preferable to access it by the sea by kayak or boat. This little corner of paradise is worthy of a postcard with its turquoise waters and the maritime pines standing on the edge of the cliff. In 2017 the Virgin Island appears in 14th position of the ranking of the most beautiful beaches in the world of the famous British newspaper “The Guardian”.
