At the tip of Brittany, where the land gives way to the ocean, we’ve created a retreat: a place where you can breathe, where time slows down, and where the sea is the only decoration.

A family home, built overlooking the harbor
Our story began several decades ago, when the Moreau family envisioned a retreat where people could come to recharge, right by the Iroise Sea. From generation to generation, the legacy has been passed down naturally—true to the spirit of Brittany’s fishing ports.
The opening
In the summer of 1989, Jacques Moreau and his wife set up the resort: the Thalassa opened its doors opposite Camaret harbour.
The transmission
Cédric, their eldest son, and his brother Vivien are taking over the reins. Together, they are naturally carrying on the family business’s tradition.
A living home
Traditional charm and contemporary comfort, underpinned by values of friendliness, hospitality and respect for our natural heritage.

A soft, contemporary nautical elegance
Shades of night and sand, rope motifs, light wood, and golden brass: the interior exudes a subdued elegance that never forgets its roots.
Every detail extends the outdoors—the light from the harbor, the shifting blue of the bay, the warmth of the bark. A home where you immediately feel at ease.

a new chapter begins. »
Experience the Crozon Peninsula

The beaches of the peninsula
White sand and turquoise waters: Pen-Hat, Veryac’h or Dinan Cove, just a few minutes from the hotel for a swim in a world of its own.

The GR34 trails
The Customs Officers’ Path runs along the cliffs of Pen-Hir and the Tas de Pois — spectacular walks starting from Styvel Quay.

The harbour & the fortifications
The Vauban Tower, the Lagatjar alignments, the picturesque fishing harbour: Camaret reveals itself through its maritime heritage.
